The Policy Statement
Nexus Nova has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking. We are dedicated to acting ethically and with total integrity across all our business relationships, implementing and enforcing robust systems to ensure slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own organisation or across our supplier networks.
Our Business & Supply Chains
As a leading provider of digital transformation, eLearning solutions, and clinical floorwalking services to the National Health Service (NHS) and the wider UK public sector, our supply chains primarily consist of software development specialists, IT equipment providers, and professional services contractors based within the United Kingdom and accredited international technology hubs.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, Nexus Nova implements rigorous procurement controls:
- Right to Work Verification: We verify the legal right to work in the UK for 100% of direct employees, apprentices, and temporary staff prior to commencement of any contract.
- Supplier Vetting: All subcontractors and third-party software providers are evaluated against the standards established in the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- Fair Remuneration: We are committed to paying fair wages that meet or exceed the UK Living Wage across all operational tiers.
- Whistleblowing Channel: We provide secure, confidential reporting channels for employees and partners to raise concerns without fear of reprisal.
Training & Organisational Awareness
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery in modern digital procurement, information on our ethical standards is provided during employee onboarding. Management teams are trained to identify indicators of exploitation and illegal recruitment fees.
